2019

Transfer and capital renovation

Under Presidential Decree No. 5653 of February 2, 2019 "On additional measures to develop the information sphere and mass communications", the college was transferred to the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Accordingly, the buildings belonging to the college, designed for 540 students, underwent full capital renovation. Conditions meeting international education standards were created, and the college's material and technical base was equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and teaching aids. An information resource center with a sector-specific book fund and electronic textbooks, computer and practical training rooms, and a sports hall now serve the students.

Today

Current programs

Today the college offers five programs — Printing Production, Library Science, Computer Systems and Software, Accounting, and Design and Modeling of Sewing Products — in full-time, part-time, and dual education formats.

Partnerships and location

Another important aspect is that the college is located in an area where major printing enterprises operate, which has great practical significance. Cooperation agreements have been signed with the "O'zbekiston", "O'qituvchi", and "G'afur G'ulom" publishing houses, the "Sharq" publishing and printing joint-stock company, the Alisher Navoi National Library of Uzbekistan, and Anor Bank. Students have the opportunity to strengthen their theoretical knowledge through practical training at these leading organizations and enterprises.

International cooperation

Memorandums of cooperation have been signed with the Ivan Fedorov Moscow Publishing and Printing Vocational College of the Russian Federation, the Anvar Ismoilov Vocational College of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology to develop interstate relations and cooperation in education.
